Terms of use
By using this site you accept these terms. They are short because the site is simple: a calculator that runs in your browser and some written guidance.
What this site provides
An estimate. The calculator applies the rates you enter to the volume and average ticket you enter. It does not know your actual interchange rates, your card mix, your contract terms, or your processor's statement. Its output is arithmetic on your inputs, and its accuracy is bounded by the accuracy of those inputs.
Nothing here is a quote, an offer, or a commitment by any payment provider. Nothing here is financial, tax, legal, or accounting advice. Rate figures published on this site are indicative and change; the card networks republish interchange twice a year.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. No guarantee is made that the site will be available, uninterrupted, or free of errors.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of this site is not liable for any loss or damage — including lost profits, increased processing costs, or business interruption — arising from use of the site or reliance on its output. Decisions about payment processing are yours, and should be made against your own statements and contracts.
Third-party links
Outbound links, including affiliate links, lead to sites operated by others and governed by their own terms and privacy policies. This site does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, pricing, or conduct. Affiliate arrangements are disclosed on the disclosure page.
Intellectual property
The written content and the calculator implementation on this site are the operator's work. You may quote short extracts with attribution and a link. You may not republish pages in full, or redistribute the calculator as your own product, without permission.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at a rate that degrades service for others, or present its output as a formal quote to a third party.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's jurisdiction of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory local law.
Changes
Terms may be updated; the review date below reflects the current version. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
